A table top is in the shape of parallelogram , polish at the rate of $Rs.20$ per $10{cm}^2$ if the base of the parallelogram is$45cm$ and the total cost was $Rs.2250$ .Find the altitude of the parallelogram.

For $10c{m}^2=Rs.20\Rightarrow$ In Rs. $20=$ $10c{m}^2$

$\Rightarrow$ In Rs. $2250=$ $\frac{10}{20}\times 2250=1125c{m}^2$

Area of parallelogram = base $\times$ height $\Rightarrow$ height = $\frac{1125}{45}=25$
