The correct option is A 20
Length of purple cloth = 6 ft
Length of each purple cloth piece after the tailor cuts it = 12 ft
Number of smaller purple cloth pieces
=6÷12
=6×21 (Taking the reciprocal of the second fraction)
= 12
Length of black cloth = 4 ft
Length of each black cloth piece after the tailor cuts it =12 ft
Number of smaller black cloth pieces
=4÷12
=4×21 (Taking the reciprocal of the second fraction)
= 8
Total number of smaller cloth pieces = 12 + 8 = 20 pieces.
