Solution

The correct option is A 4 m 60 cm
The lenth of cloth required to make 1 shirt by Tailor = 1 m 35 cm = 100 cm + 35 cm = 135 cm

The length of cloth required to make 1 trouser = 2 m 05 cm
= 2× 100 cm + 05 cm
= 205 cm
Length of the cloth required to make 1 shirt and trouser = 135 cm + 205 cm
= 340 cm
Length of the cloth required to make 6 trousers = 340 cm × 6
= 2040 cm

= 2000 cm + 40 cm = 20 m 40 cm

Difference of the length of cloths required and the cloth he has bought = 25 m - 20 m 40 cm
= 25 × 100 cm - 2040 cm
= 2500 cm - 2040 cm
= 460 cm
= 400 cm + 60 cm
= 4 m 60 cm
