Given,

Total height of tank =5m

Density of water, ρ1=1g/cm3

Density of oil, ρ2=0.85g/cm3

We know that,

Half tank is filled with water and half tank is filled with oil.

So, h1=h2=52=2.5m=250cm

Pressure at the bottom of the tank is

P=h1ρ1g+h2ρ2g

P=g(250×1+250×0.85)

P=462.5g/cm2
