Solution

The correct option is C 7,700
Capacity of the tank = 8,200 mL

Water available in the tank = 12 L

Let's convert liters to milliliters.

We know that,
1 liter = 1,000 milliliters

So,
12 L = 12 × 1000 mL

=500 mL

Hence, out of 8,200 mL capacity of the tank, 500 mL was already filled.

Now we have to find the remaining amount of water to be filled in the tank.

Amount of water to be filled = Total capacity - water available

Thus, 7,700 mL of water is required to be filled in the tank.
