The correct option is C 15 hours
Suppose, first pipe alone takes x hours to fill the tank.
Then, second and third pipes will take (x5) and (x9) hours respectively to fill the tank.
1x+1x5=1x9
x5+xx(x5)=1x9
(2x5)(x9)=x(x5)
x218x+45=0
(x15)(x3)=0
x=15 [Neglecting x=3]
Hence, first pipe alone takes 15 hours to fill the tank.
