Initial volume (V)=0.2 m3
The number of moles of gas in the tank will remain constant( tank is closed by piston),
n=PVRT
n=105×0.28.31×300=8 mol
The amount of heat required to raise the temperature of gas in tank at constant pressure is
ΔQ=nCpΔT
Q=8×5 cal mol1 K1×100 K
Q=4000 cal
