Water decreased in $1 hour = 9 litres$
Thus, water decreased in $10 hours = 10 \times 9 = 90 litres$
Quantity of water left in the tank after $10 hours = 500 - 90 = 410 litres$
Hence, $410 litres$ of water will be left in the tank after $10 hours .$
