The correct option is C 5
Total number of batteries =17
Number of batteries used for each calculator =3
To find how many calculators can the teacher fill with batteries, divide the total number of batteries by the number of batteries used for each calculator.
We get, divide 17 by 3

Quotient = 5
Remainder = 2
Now, the teacher can't fill a calculator using the remaining 2 batteries.
Hence, We Just drop it.
Therefore, the teacher can fill 5 calculators only.
