Solution

Let the number of teddy bears bought = xLet the number of toy cars bought = yNow, according to question, x + y = 6 .......1cost of 1 teddy bear = Rs 50cost of 1 toy car = Rs 65So, according to the second condition, 50x + 65y = 33010x + 13y = 66 ......2Multiply 1 by 10, we get 10x + 10y = 60 ......3subtracting 3 from 2, we get 3y = 6y = 2Now, from 1, we get x = 4So, number of teddy bears bought = 4number of toy cars bought = 2
