A tent is the shape of a right circular cylinder upto a height of 3m and conical above it. The total height of the tent is 13.5 m and radius of base is 14 m. Find the cost of cloth required to make the tent at the rate Rs. 80 per sq. m.

Area of cloth required $=2\pi rh+\pi r\sqrt{r^2+H^2}$

$=2\pi rh+\pi r\sqrt{r^2+H^2}$

$=\pi r[2h+\sqrt{r^2+H^2}]$

$=\frac{22}{7}\times 14[2\times 3+\sqrt{{14}^2+{\left(10.5\right)}^2}]$

$=44\times 23.5=1034m^2$

Cost of cloth $=Rs.(1034\times 80)=Rs.82720$
