Tetrapoda are the first four-limbed vertebrates and their descendants e.g., amphibians, birds, mammals, reptiles and ancient creatures of the aquatic habitat. Amniotes are the group of tetrapod vertebrates that lay their eggs on land or retain the fertilized egg within the mother. Amniotes are the organisms which produce eggs with amnion at embryonic stage e.g., reptiles, birds, mammals, they are differentiated from the fishes and amphibians which are amniotes. This includes jaw fewer fishes, cartilaginous fishes, bony fishes along with amphibians.
