Let m1 be the amount of water that freezes and m2 be the amount of water that vaporizes.

Therefore, heat is taken from frozen water= Heat given to water vapors.

m1(3.36×105)=m2(21×105)

m2=0.16m1

Percentage of water solidified=m1m1+m2×100%

=86.2%
