Solution:- (B) 800J
Total work done by the gas from D to E to F = Area of DEF(WFD=0)
Area of DEF=12×DF×EF
Now, from the given fig.,
DF=600200=400N/m2
EF=73=4m3
Therefore,
Area of DEF=12×400×4=800J
Hence the total work done by the gas from D to E to F is 800J.
