Net deviation due to to two prisms is zero

δ1+δ2=0

A1(μ11)+A2(μ21)=0 δ=A(μ1
Here A1,μ1 and δ1 are for prism P1

A2,μ2 and δ2 are for prism P2

A2=A1(μ11)(μ21)=4(1.541)(1.721)

A2=4×0.540.72

A2=3

The two prisms are combined such that the position of one prism is inverted with respect to other prism.
