Total distance travelled = x km
Total fare = Rs. y
According to question :
Fare for 1st Km = Rs. 15
Fare for remaining (x-1) Km = Rs. 8
Therefore, required lineear equation =>
y = 15(1) + 8(x-1)
y = 15 + 8x - 8
y = 7 + 8x
