A tissue having more non-living material than the living matter is
The nervous system is the complex network of nerves and cells that carry messages to and from the brain and spinal cord to different parts of the body; so all cells are living.
Epithelial tissue lines the surface and cavities of body’s organs. As they these cells contain the nucleus and perform important functions they are living matter.
Parenchyma tissue is composed of living cells. They vary widely in morphology and metabolism.
Connective tissue consists of fibrous tissue, fat, cartilage, bone, bone marrow and blood. It is made up of the matrix of living cells that secrete the large amount of ground matrix which is non living. For eg. Liquid (blood), semi-solid (connective tissue) and solid (bone). So the connective tissue contains more non-living matter than living material.
