Let AB be the tower and its shadows be BD and BC corresponding to the angle of elevations 60 and 45 respectively

In ΔABC,
tan45=ABBC

1=120BC

BC=120m

In ΔABD,
tan60=ABBD

3=120BD

BD=403 m

Now,
BC=BD+CD120=403+xx=120403=403(31)51m
