The correct option is C T=(32) T
The extension in the string in first case =(2aa)=a
Now Hooke's law is F=kx
m(2a)ω2=k.a
m(2a)(2πT)2=ka .....................(1)
In second case
m(3a)(2πT)2=k(3aa) .......................(2)
Dividing (1) and (2) and solving,we get
T=32T
hence, option B is correct.
