Solution

The correct option is C 50
Given : S.P = Rs. 75, C.P = Rs. x and Profit = x%

Profit (Rs.) = Profit100×C.P and Profit (Rs.) = S.P - C.P

Profit (Rs.) = Rs.(75x) ...(1)

Profit (Rs.) =x100×x ..(2)

From eq(1) and eq.(2) we get
75x=x2100

x2+100x7500=0
x=100±10000+300002
x=100±2002
x=50,150
Hence, x=50
