cross the bridge one km long

Open in App
Solution

Train 100m long and moving with velocity 60km/hr=60×518m/sec=503m/sec.

We have to find time train will take to cross a brige 1km i.e 1000m long.

Length of train be lt , length of bridge be lb and velocity of train be v

So time taken = lt+lbv

=100+1000503

=66sec
