cross the bridge one km long

Train 100m long and moving with velocity $60km/hr=60\times \frac{5}{18}m/sec=\frac{50}{3}m/sec$.

We have to find time train will take to cross a brige $1km$ i.e $1000m$ long.

Length of train be $lt$ , length of bridge be $lb$ and velocity of train be $v$

So time taken = $\frac{lt+lb}{v}$

$=\frac{100+1000}{\frac{50}{3}}$

$=66sec$
