Solution

The correct option is D

11 s

Given,
Speed of man (S2) = 6 km/hr
Speed of the train (S1) = 60 km/hr

The man and the train are moving in the same direction,so the relative speed = (S1S2)=(606)=54 km/hr

Converting it to m/s,
54×518=15 m/s
Length of train = 165 m
Time taken by the train to pass the man is DistanceRelative speed=16515=11s
