The correct option is C
60 $\frac{k m}{h}$

$A v e r a g e s p e e d$ = $\frac{Total distance}{Total time taken}$

Now, total distance travelled = 140 + 180 + 40 km

= 360 km

and total time taken = 2 + 3 + 1 hours

= 6 h

$∴$ $A v e r a g e s p e e d o f t r a i n$ = $\frac{360}{6}$

= 60 $\frac{k m}{h}$
