Open in App
Solution

Given,
1 m (1m = 100 cm) of the miniature model is equivalent to 32 m in actual.

We know that lesser is the measurement in the model, lesser is the actual measurement.

So, Model measurements (x) Actual measurements (y)

x1y1 = x2y2

Given,
x1 = 100 cm
y1 = 32 m
x2 = 10 cm
and y2 = actual height
y2 = x2×y1x1
y2 = 10×32100 = 3.2 m

Hence, the actual height of the train is 3.2 m.
