1) Acceleration
2) Distance travelled by the train while it attained the velocity

$v=u+at$

$20=0+a\times 120$

$\therefore a=\frac{1}{6}m/s^2$

$v^2=u^2+2as$

$400=0+2\times \frac{1}{6}\times s$

$\therefore s=1200m$
