A train with a speed of 68 Km/hr has crossed a bike of speed 32 Km/hr in 36 seconds. Then what is the length of the faster train?
360 m
For a train to cross a bike, it has to cover a distance equal to its length.
Here, the time for crossing is given as 36 sec and their relative speed (in same direction) = 68 Km/hr - 32 Km/hr = 36 Km/hr or
36×518 = 10 m/s
So, Distance = Speed×Time
i.e., Length of the faster train = 36 sec×10 m/s = 360 m
