Let Distance between Meerut and Delhi be $D$
Speed of train X $\to V_{X} = \frac{D}{1}$

Speed of train Y $\to V_{Y} = \frac{D}{1.5}$

$\Rightarrow D = \frac{D}{1} \times T + \frac{D}{1.5} \times T$

$\Rightarrow T = \frac{3}{5} h r = 36 m i n$
