The correct option is C 8A
In usual rotation we have -
VsVp=NsNp
VS=Vp×NsNp
=200v×1000500
=400V
There is load resistance of 100Ω in the secondary circuit. Therefore current in the secondary
is=VsRs=400V100Ω=4A
In an ideal transformer the output power and input power are equal that is
Vs×is=Vp×ip
ip=is×VsVp=4A×400V200V
=4A×2
=8A
Hence, the answer is 8A.
