Solution

Dear Student,
[ Ar]3d^4 Here x is the element

first atomic number of Ar is 18 and add 4 then the number of electrons in x+3
oxidation means it has an ability to loss 3 electrons.
so, +3 charge means 3 electrons loss by A then it forms A +3

so , number of electrons in A = 22 + 3 = 25

we know,
in Neutral element number of electrons = number of protons = atomic number
so,
atomic no of x= 25
