A triangle of sides 6, 8 and 10 cm is clearly a right-angled triangle, since 6, 8 and 10 are pythagorean triples.
The radius of in-circle is given by 12×(b+ac), where c is the hypotenuse and a & b are sides. This can be proved as follows:


In the given problem a = 8 cm, b= 6 cm and c=10 cm
Therefore, the radius = 12×(8+610)=2 cm
Area of incircle = π×22=4π sq.cm
