A triangular park with sides measuring 35m,54mand67m has one gate 2.5m wide on each side of the park. the rate of fencing is 7 per metre. what will be the cost of fencing the park?

To find the cost we need to find the perimeter of the triangular park

The perimeter of the Triangular park =Sumofeachsides

=35+54+67=156m

Length need for fencing = perimeterofpark-3×lengthofgate

=156-3×2.5=156-7.5=148.5m

The cost of fencing =totallength×rateoffencing

=148.5×7=1039.5

Hence the cost of fencing is 1039.5.
