(i)FBD= The prism has 2 angle equal to 600
So, third angle=1800−1200=600
So, the triangle becomes equilateral △.
Resultant force =√(100)2+(100)2+2(100)cos600
√3×(100)2=100√3N
(ii) Both forces are equal , so Resultant force will bisect the angle. Resultant force =100√3N at 300
(iii) Magnitude of force to be applied to make it in equilibrium.
Same resultant force =100√3N but in opposite direction
