The correct option is D 1.25×103W
We know that 1km/h=5/18 m/s.
That is 36km/h=10 m/s and 72km/h=20 m/s.
K.E=0.5×m×v2
For work done by the engine we need to take the difference i.e
W=0.5×1000(20×2010×10)J
W=15×104J.
Here t=2min=2×60=120 seconds.
P=W/t=15×104/120=1250 Watt
Hence power generated is 1250W =1.25×103 W
