Solution

The correct option is C

Wavelength

The frequency of a vibration depends upon the frequency of the source has started the vibration so frequency won't change if Temperature change.

Now T = 1fif frequency doesn't change then how can the Time period change?

Wave velocity v = λf

f = υλ

We know frequency doesn't depend upon temperature. If will remain constant. But velocity of wave in a medium depends upon temperature.vT

But if v changes and f is constant, then λ has to change.

So option (c) changes

What about displacement amplitude. Displacement of a particle in the medium depends on how much the tuning fork's prongs displace. Because the more the prongs move the more the particles near it will be displaced and this motion will be carried forward.
