A two digit number is such that product of its digits is 18. When 63 is subtracted from the no, the digits interchanges then places. Find the number.

Let the ten’s digit be x
Then, the unit's digit=18x
Number=10x+18x
And number obtained by inter changing the digits =10×18x+x
According to the question,
10x+18x180xx=63
9x162x=63
9x263x162=0
x27x18=0
x29x+2x18=0
x(x9)+2(x9)=0
(x9)(x+2)=0
Ignoring x=2
x=9
Hence the required number is 10×9+189=90+2=92
