The correct option is A its velocity will decrease.
Lorentz force $= F = - q [\to E + \to V \times \to B]$

$∵ \to V$ is in the direction of $\to B$ , so $\to V \times \to B = 0$

$∴ F = - q \to E$

$\Rightarrow \frac{d^{2} x}{d t^{2}} = \frac{d v}{d t} = \frac{- q E}{m}$

$\Rightarrow V = V_{0} - \frac{q E t}{m}$

So, the velocity will decrease.
