If N1 and N2 represents the contact force from ground on rod just before and just after cutting string then find the ratio of N1/N2

Equation of force T+N=Mg
Equation of torque Tsinθ× l=Nsinθ×lT=N

So N1=Mg2
After cutting string N2=Mg

Thus N1N2=12
