Let the length and area of the tube be L and A, respectively.
For section with constant temperature,
P0V0=P1V1
⟹P(AL2)=P1(A(L2−5))
Initial temperature T0=0oC=273K
Final temperature T1=100oC=100+273=373K
Similarly for section whose temperature increased,
P0V0T0=P1V1T1 ⟹P0(AL2)273=P1(A(L2+5))373
⟹L=65cm
So the length of tube containing gas at 100∘ is L2+5=37.5cm
