75 minutes, 48 km/h

Time taken for first part of journey, $t_{1}$ = Distance/ Speed = 30 / 60 = 0.5 h

Time taken for second part of journey, $t_{2}$ = Distance/ Speed = 30 / 40 = 0.75 h

Total time, T = 0.5 h + 0.75 h = 1.25 h = 1.25 $\times$ 60 mins = 75 mins

Average speed = $\frac{T o t a l D i s t a n c e}{T o t a l T i m e}$ = (30 km + 30 km) / (1.25 h) = 48 km/h
