The correct option is B 40.5 J
Acceleration given, a=2t

Velocity obtained by the integrating on the both sides during time interval t=0 sec to t=3 sec

v0dv=302tdt
v=t2|30=3202=9

v0=0 m/s, as the particle is starting from rest
v=9 m/s

According to work energy theorem,
Net work done = Change in kinetic energy
=12×m×(v2v20)
=12×1×(920)
=40.5 J

Hence option B is the correct answer.
