Solution

The correct option is D a.^k+2=0
NOTE : This is a BONUS question as none of the options satisfy the given condition.
The angle bisector of vectors b and c is given by :
a=λ(^b+^c)=λ(^i+^j2+^i^j+4^k32)=λ(4^i+2^j+4^k3)
Comparing with a=α^i+2^j+β^k, we get
2λ32=2λ=32
a=4^i+2^j+4^k
None of the options satisfy.
