Solution

The correct option is B 10
Let A=x^i+y^j

Resultant, C=A+B=(x+3)^i+(y+4)^j

but C is in +Y direction.

x+3=0

x=3 ............... (1)

since, |C|=|B|

|(y+4)^j|=|3^i+4^j|

y+4=(32+42)

y+4=5

y=1 ......... (2)

Now, from equation (1) and (2)

A=3^i+^j

|A|=((3)2+12)=(9+1)=10
