Open in App
Solution

C.P of 12 lemons =Rs. 25(1 dozen =12)
C.P of one lemon =Rs. 2512=Rs. 2.08333333
S.P of five lemons =Rs.12

S.P of one lemon =Rs. 125=Rs. 2.4
Gain = S.P C.P =(2.42.08333333) =Rs. 0.31666667
Gain%=GainCP×100%
=0.316666672.08333333×100%
=0.152000002×100%

=15.2%

Hence, vendor gain 15%.
