Solution

The correct option is C 20%
Cost price of each dozen =12
Number of dozen =25
Total CP=12×25
=Rs. 300

Three dozen are thrown away and 10 dozen sold at Rs. 18 per dozen.
SP1=18×10=180

Now, vendor will be left with 25310 that is 12 dozens of banana. In 1 dozen there are 12 banana. So,

Total banana left =12×12
=144

These are sold at Rs. 1.25 per banana,
SP2=1.25×144
=Rs. 180

Total SP=SP1+SP2
=180+180
=Rs. 360

Profit %=SPCPCP×100

=360300300×100

=60300×100

=20%

Hence, the vendor made a profit of 20% after selling the bananas.
