Solution

Solution:

Bv/Bh= tan theta

or, Bh = Bv/tan theta

or, Bh=Bv. Cot theta

Induced e.m.f must be due to horizontal component because rod is vertical.

E= Bh. l.v = Bv.cot theta. l.v
