In ΔABC and ΔPQR
∠ABC = ∠PQR =90
∠ACB = ∠PRQ
[Angular Elevation of Sun is same for a particular instant of time]
⇒ ΔABC ∼ ΔPQR [By AA similarity] [1 Mark]

So, we have
ABBC=PQQR
[Corresponding sides are proportional] [1 Mark]

Now,
108=PQ3000
PQ=(3000×10)8
PQ=300008
PQ=3750100

Therefore, PQ = 37.5 m [1 Mark]
