Solution

Let AB be the tower and D
The angle made by sunrays falling on the object will be same at same time.
So In triangleABC and triangleDEF
angleACB =angle DFE

angleABC= angleDEF (right angle)

180 - (angle ABC +angleACB) = 180 - (angle DFE+angleDEF)
angleBAC = angleFDE (proved)

Hence triangleABC tildetriangleDEF.
fraction numerator A B over denominator B C end fraction equals fraction numerator D E space over denominator E F end fraction(Corresponding parts of similar triangle)

.fraction numerator A B over denominator D E end fraction equals fraction numerator B C over denominator E F end fraction fraction numerator A B over denominator 8 end fraction equals 30 over 10 A B space equals 24 space c m
Hence height of tower is 24 cm.
