Given, density of the mercury,

ρm=13.6 g/cm3

Density of the oil, ρoil=0.8 g/cm3

As given 14 volume of the vessel immersed in mercury and 34 volume is in oil,

V4×13.6g+3V4×0.8×g=Vρg

ρ=3.4+0.6=4 g/cm3
