We know that,
Pressure =ρgh
where ρ=density of water
g=acceleration due to gravity

h=height of water column
P=103×9.8×1.5=1.47×104Nm2
Upthrust = Force exerted = Pressure × Area
Upthrust = 1.47×104Nm2×100×104m=147N
