Pressure intensity of liquids in the vertical downward direction increases, but remains constant in the horizontal direction. Thus, PB=ρgh+PA

where;

PB=pressure at B(N/m2)
PA=pressure at A(N/m2)

ρ= mass density of the liquid(kg/m3)

ρ=1250 kg/m3

g= Acceleration due to gravity

=10 m/sec2 (Assumed)

h = Vertical distance separating the two point A and B

h=0.8 m

PBPA=ρgh=1250×10×0.8=10000N/m2=10kPa
